Routine ID Referral

Provider-to-provider referrals for scheduled infectious disease consultation. We accept referrals from primary care, internal medicine, surgery, and specialty practices throughout North Dallas and Collin County.

Most routine referrals are scheduled within 1-2 weeks. Urgent cases can often be accommodated sooner.

Self-referrals are not accepted. Please have your primary care or specialty provider submit a referral on your behalf.

Common Indications
Complex or recurrent infections
Antibiotic selection or optimization
Suspected osteomyelitis or deep-seated infection
Positive blood cultures requiring follow-up
HIV care or PrEP consultation
OPAT coordination (home IV antibiotics)
Travel medicine or pre-travel consultation

Our ID physician reviews the referral and our office contacts the patient to discuss scheduling an appointment.
